Steam Oil 1Ltr, Compounded cylinder oil, 680 medium grade for Model Steam engines of all sizes from Mamod to full size! We at Maxitrak have been using this oil for many years and highly recommend this product.

A medium grade, compounded oil suitable for use with saturated & light superheated steam. Designed for Steam Locomotives mainly on preserved lines, Traction Engines, Steam Rollers and Stationary Engines. 

Attributes: Does not damage paintwork or cause staining on phosphor bronze, brass or copper fittings. Promotes low carbonisation of cylinders and pistons. Provides a robust lubricating film to protect valves and cylinders. Offers excellent corrosion resistance on cast iron and steel parts. Exceptional lubrication on all moving parts, even at elevated temperatures up to 150dergees centigrade and boiler pressures of up to 125PSI.
